How to plan & Prepare for your Newborn Twins
Planning and preparing for a twin newborn photography session with a professional photographer requires careful consideration and attention to detail to ensure a smooth and successful experience. Firstly, communicate with your photographer well in advance to discuss your vision, preferences, and any specific poses or props you have in mind. It's essential to schedule the session during the babies' first 3 weeks of life when they are most sleepy and flexible, allowing for easier posing. Your photographer will coordinate outfits, wraps and accessories for the babies, keeping in mind colors and styles that complement each other and create a cohesive look. It helps to have your photographer know your preferences in colors.
Arrive at the session well-prepared with extra diapers, wipes, and feeding supplies to keep the babies comfortable and content throughout the shoot. It is recommended that if nursing, prepare some bottles for babies. It's also recommend if solely breastfeeding, it may not keep babies as full as formula. Consider formula feeding for the session.
Additionally, be flexible and patient, as working with newborns, especially twins, can be unpredictable. Trust your photographer's expertise and allow them to guide the session while remaining open to capturing candid and spontaneous moments. By planning ahead and being well-prepared, you can ensure a seamless and enjoyable twin newborn photography session that results in stunning images to cherish for years to come.
